• I still favour BT Vision in aesthetics. You get a fully full screen EPG and the 'mini-tv' is actually the background image because the channel listings are displayed as a complete TV overlay, which I prefer as you can seem more. That 'time remaining' quirk is also a feature of the Vision interface, as are HD graphics.
  
  This seems more evolution than revolution from Sky, sparked by its competitors.

• my mum (73) loves her sky+hd, but since they have changes the EPG he cant get to grips with it and struggles to use it. Has sky not taken the older generation into concideration. Posted by A . Capostagno, uk
• I've had Sky since it launched and have used all the variants of the EPG and have found each one successively better than the one before.....until now! This latest update is too cluttered, hard to read and buggy. Come on Sky you can do better! Posted by K Jewison, UK
• Sky may have updated the software for a few models of box but many of us will have to wait another couple of months (and anyone getting a new box now is likely to get a newer model that won't be updated until May or June). Posted by GK, UK
• I have given the new EPG a couple of months now but just haven't taken to it. It takes longer to do simple tasks. For example, changing channel now involves pressing select twice; pressing once changes the mini-TV, twice to go full screen. There also seems to be a delay between selecting some items and the action being invoked. It's common to experience an annoying buffering effect on selections. The more I use it, the more frustrated I am becoming. How did this take years to deliver? I saw it previewed in 2006! Pity there is no alternative on the Sky platform. Posted by GM, UK
