  • How can you say this has smaller screen than Omnia or G1? They're all at 3.2" inches.

  • Nice to see they've improved the biggest flaw of the battery life. Once of the larger focuses of the firmware-cooking community on the first Diamond was trying to enable the video-out feature that is found on the Touch Pro but it seems that was hardwired out of the original Diamond. Any idea if the Diamond2 supports video out via the mini-usb? Posted by GK, UK
  • But is there really a market for the Diamond2 now that the TouchHD is already out? Why would you opt for the Diamond2's smaller screen? Essentially this is just the evolution of the Diamond1, its what people wanted the Diamond1 to be. But TouchHD is with us, and TouchHD2 will blow this and TouchHD1 out of the water.

And then there's iPhone mk 3...

  • ...and then there's 4G. Phones now are like computers 20 years ago. Upgrade every 2 years or so. Actually, the D2 is a smaller HD. The smaller D2 size actually seems more practical. Verizon finally just released the original diamond in the US. We're holding off for the successor or a competitor. With all the niggling, this HTC series still seems the most capable WM smartphones.
