• Well i would like to say that the camera on this phone is excllent seeing as i got it for £100 with £10 airtime free on 3 and to the person that commented before me, although there is a samsung C510, this isn't it and the samsung does not hav a good camera it is only VGA Posted by Adrian, United Kingdom

  The Sony Ericson C510 is fantastic with Cyber shot camera of 3.2 pixels and crisp in picture taking.

• I've put my memory card from my old sony e in the c510 as I had a lot of old photos and videos organised in folders. It quite annoying that though these were ordered in files I made that can be accessed from organiser>my files they can also my accessed by date order through the media option.
  
  Does any one know how to turn this media off or get it to organise as per my files? I have ordered them in files for a reason and don't like the way anything can be accessed through the media option.

• I have noticed the same thing as Jock. It's a bit stupid for the designers to do this!
  When viewing vidoes they ALL appear for viewing and there's too many!
  Photos are separated by date for but videos are just plonked in the same file. What a bad design!

• Hi, I just brougt myself Sony Ericcson(SE) C510 mobile yesterday, I was previoulsy using K790i SE. I find this pathetic infront of K series.
  1. C510 SE allows to zoom the picture before clicking only in VGA mode, in all other modes I get the message,'Zoom is not possible at this resolution. Select a smaller picture size."
  But allows you to zoom the picture after it has been clicked. What is the need there after???

  2. Also the picture appears to come clear, But when I look carefully through the camera for 3-4 seconds, it changes colors.
  Sometimes a little yellow or else a little blue. Not sure why???

  3. There is no zenon flash in C510 SE, but this might be a problem at night.
  
  4. Also the sound quality is very poor in C510 SE as compared to K790i, especially when the no you are calkling is busy, and you hear that tone that tells you that the no u dialled is busy-once you hear that sound, you would rather never buy this ph.
  
  I wasted Rs 9500 on the useless SE C510 on 28 Sep 2009, I wish I could get another K series SE phone!!!
  
  Please do not buy SE C510 is you love to hear music for hours or if you love to click beautiful photos. tghis ph is basically good only for tose people who are new to the cybershot camera and music and any one who has used any Nokia/Sony Ericcson Mobile costlier than Rs 10,000, plzzzzzz do not opt for C510. It is only for beginners not for the habitual users of music and camera in mobiles!!
  Any one wanting to take SE K series please go ahead. I found K790i as a marvous experience for last 3 years.

  1.Cybershot camera with Zenon flash- best one ever in any mobile, you will love it!
  2.Music not very loud as compared to Nokia N series or SE Walkman series. but if u only hear music from headphones, then it is very good.
  3. The voice never cracks or breaks or shivers when you call any one(you will find this issue in maximum new phones of SE).

• i have put my Sony Ericsson C510 on Mass storage mode to charge it and accidentally i removed it without exited .Now my phone is locked mass storage mode ,i have tried a lot to put it back in Phone Mode so that i can my phone ,but no success at all. • i own a se c510... it is a good phone for 9500rswith 3.15mp camera that to cybershot series.best cool camera in bright sunlight but cantget good pictures at evening or when the light is less i think it is due to the led flash.
  the keypad is good and stylish.....
  has 3g...
  doesnt gives a good music but gives when you hear with a headphone or earphone..
  i agree with steve ....there is no organised video gallery.all videos put into same file.

• The SE c510 work well outdoors straight out form the box... and stops short just there.
  It's a pity the camera from this unit does not live up to the "Cyber-shot" name when used indoors... even in daytime, daylight, whatever.
  Photos taken tend to be "noisy" & objects tend to be "blur" with the slightest movement of object.
  You can keep your hands very steady when using c510 to take photo indoor but result would be the same... "blur".
  Forget about the camera settings, be it photo-flash or software settings, since it will only make the photo look "washed-out".
  Besides in comparison, signal is only 3-bars when indoor vs. 5-bars when using another low-end SE non-cybershot phone.

• Pros: Slim design, keypad layout, 2.2" screen, HSDPA..
  
  Cons: Poor cell reception, shutter lag & no user manual override settings ie. limited camera software capabilities..
