  • High speed video capture, although an interesting feature does not really give this camera much of an edge in this price range. However the extraordinary capability of high image capture frame rate for still images is definitely a good thing. Imagine no more frustration at having missed that exclusive one off shot!
If battery power has reasonable longevity, coupled with good image quality then at this price range the camera is indeed very competitive.

  • The Slo-Mo video capture is a little disappointing, the sensor requires LOTS of light to get any detail on the capture. In low light you would be better of choosing the HD option and slowing down the capture afterwards with software (you obviously won;t get the 210 frames but the video will be bright enough to view). The still frame capture appears very good (and the useful Best Shot options are pretty good). Using rechargable batteries appears to be the only way to get any decent longevity out of this camera.

I would love to have one for myself.

  • I have been using this camera for the last few weeks and it's turned out to be much better than I expected. I wasn't planning on using it as much as I do, or for it to be as handy and portable as it is. The slo-mo is surprisingly useful, more-so than I thought. I'm fancying myself a director/cinematographer these days, I especially love the 30-210 fps. It's a great tool for my arsenal, and a ton of fun!! Posted by william pierce, USA
