  • This LCD contains 5ms panel, not 2ms panel! After 2 weeks using, I get it to the service, where the experts has determined this type of LCDs contain slow 5ms panel, and it is over-driven electonically, which results very bad, gay and strong purplish-yellovy patches (like something negative) around, after the each objects (mainly white) on the screen! It is very insipid! In OSD menu you can change the response time: 5ms or 2ms. If you choose the 2ms, the 5ms panel is over-driven. During fast movement almost after every objects (mainly white) you see very bad purplish patches! The panel cannot reproduce the colors because of the overdrive! According to the service it is a series problem. The Viewsonic deceives the costumers!

Look after the problem before buy! Don't risk!

  • I also realized this kind of problem. It is totally unenjoyable, I cannot use my monitor normally! According to the Viewsonic this LCD is 2ms monitor, but it cannot show the colors! Not good for gaming, not good for movies, not good for normal using! You always see the bad purplish patches in 2ms mode! Posted by Peter Hans, Germany
  • Yes, this problem is very serious!!! 2ms produces bad colors! Posted by Thibault Beaurdain, France
