Verdict: If the capacity is no joke to you as it is to Dyson’s marketing team, then buy an upright. Otherwise this is great.

We just got a second hand one of these. It had hardly ever been used and was apparently a bargain. Can't tell you how much as it was a gift. I tested it on our kitchen/living room floor that had been cleaned with a Miele Cat & Dog only a couple of days before. The Dyson put the Miele to shame, quarter filling the collector bin. Bear in mind that we have a very small flat. Excellent little vac and perfect for us as we have no storage space. The Dyson has squeezed behind the TV, next to the fridge LOL. Posted by Simon, UK
