Sennheiser Style CX 550 II headphones review

The good: Great audio, good bass too
The bad: Can hear your every step you make if you’re on the move
Verdict: At £80 the CX 550 II are excellent value for money with good audio and build quality. Though the sound of your own body as you walk might put you off

Nice sounds...cable noise a bid problem...I've sent for my 3rd set now, both times after 2 months the left ear piece packed up.....build quality issues or am I just unlucky?? Posted by Matt Warren, UK
Not sure what this cable noise thing is that the reviewer is talking about. I've been using canalphones for 8 years, maybe I'm just used to it, it's not noticeable and certainly doesn't bother you once you're used to it.

I've just bought a pair of these and even straight out of the packet they sound great. They replaced the older version of this style of headphone from Sennheiser and they're definitely an improvement. Recommended. Posted by Nick Wilson, UK

Which 'older version of Sennheiser' were you using? I used CX 500 before this and I need to replace it, so is it better or equaly quality to CX 500?
