  • When Pocket-Lint get around to doing a full review, can someone else write it please? I doubt the author did any research at all. I was hoping at least for a comparison between the new title and the brilliant Return to Castle Wolfenstein (released in 2001 in case you were wondering).

There is no information here that I could not have garnered myself via dedicated Wolfenstein fan/info sites. Where is the gameplay commentary? How is the AI? What, you mean I can actually aim, shoot AND throw grenades!? In a shooter!? Never.

I was really looking forward to this game, but if its as dull and unoriginal as this piece, I don't think I'll waste my time.

  • Rorge, thanks for your comments and sorry you didn't find what you were looking for. I've added a couple of extra paragraphs on some of the AI and gameplay elements from what we saw in the single level we played through. Posted by chrishall, United Kingdom
  • For some reason I don't remember reviews of RTCW comparing the game to Wolf 3D other than that it was the next title in the series. Shouldn't every game be judged on it's own merit? I think that's what the author is doing here. Being a professional and writing this preview as such. Posted by WolfFan, USA
