Quick review

The good
Screen is amazingly crisp, should give you longer battery life as no moving parts, Bluetooth
The bad
UMD disks will no longer be useful, screen isn't touchscreen, still pretty large compared to Nintendo DS and DSi
Verdict
This smaller version of the PSP is as good as the original, but it still might not have what it takes to beat the Nintendo DS

  • Have to say I am very disappointed by the PSP go. No real innovation and no new way of interacting with the games. Come on Sony, you can do better than this. Think I will stick with my old PSP for the time being Posted by misund007, United Kingdom
  • Ive been suprised since I used Sony PSP.
It possess powerful features except for games.
It enables us to watch movies downloaded on it just with a video converter.
I downloaded Pavtube Video converter at http://www.pavtube.com/video_converter/.It can convert between a variety of formats in a fast and stable way.

  • misund007, you're not the only one who seems to be a bit disappointed. The guys at the Telegraph adn T3 haven't rated it too highly either. I'm not sure it's worth an upgrade. What do yo think?

  • I have been tried 4Easysoft MP4 Converter
    http://www.4easysoft.com/mp4-converter.html
It can directly convert video for playing on Zune, iPod, Apple TV, iPhone, PSP etc.
has powerful video editing functions including video cropping, video trimming and video joining and can convert other video formats to MP4, AVI, MP3, M4A, AAC,AC3, OGG, WAV, etc.
    Really nice.

  • It wasn't designed for innovation, its just a smaller psp with more wireless functionality. That is all Sony went for here. Not everything needs a touchscreen (and you can't really consider it a psp if it did have one). Save the complaining for when a PSP2 is released. Posted by Rebuiltearth, United States
