Quick review

The good: Solid feel, metal construction, pocket size, large LCD screen, touch screen operation and button control provides a "best of both worlds"
The bad: Video not full HD, no HDMI out port and required cable costs extra
Verdict: If you’ve fancied trying out a touchscreen compact but been put off by the lack of buttons to fall back on, Panasonic’s FX550 offers a successful marriage of old and new in a fittingly traditional styling
