Quick review

The good: Sound, functionality, ability to record directly to SD card or USB drive, iPod dock
The bad: Remote control looks cheap, no timer for the record function, no controls on the unit so if you lose the remote you're stuffed
Verdict: We were surprisingly impressed by the Roberts MP-Sound 53 as it offers plenty in a compact, well designed, package
