Does the first Micro Four Thirds camera impress?

The good: Compact body, ease of control, great performance, articulating screen
The bad: New camera system means less accessories, those with big hands might find it too small
Verdict: We love the compact body and the level of control that you get. We also love the full articulation of the screen: it's a real bonus and helps make the G1 a really fun camera to use
Key specs: 12 megapixels, HDMI, Li-ion battery, SD, SDHC

Photo quality does not impress but it would be nice to have a DSLR that can give nice video and low noise sharp photos. Posted by nanto, Portugal
It gives excellent picture from iso100-400 from 14mm to 200mm. Grains from low light photo reduced after upgrade to v1.2. Not as good as discribe in burst mode. Looking forward that they will have more large aparture lens. Posted by Homer Wat, Hong Kong
Dpreview rates resolution as superb, and image quality <ISO 800 is fantastic, and this camera is now rated on Luminous landscape as excellent by the author. See link here:
