The tablet netbook touches down

The good: Netbook computer and tablet computer in one, touchscreen abilities, thinnest 8.9-inch netbook around
The bad: Might be seen as gimmicky by some, screen is rather loose and not fixed down in tablet mode
Verdict: As an entirely new concept in netbooks it’s a brave move for Asus to combine a touchscreen portable computer and a tablet-based PC together. On the other hand, we found the T91 very useful and ideally suited as a tablet PC when compared to the much larger screened versions of yesteryear
Key specs: 3.5mm jack, Bluetooth, Ethernet, Li-ion battery, MemoryStick, SD, SDHC, Touchscreen, USB, VGA, Wi-Fi, Windows XP

This is another offering from Asus which utilises the Intel Atom processor, if this lovely peice of kit goes the same way as the Asus EeeBox it will be a great success.

With the ability to do touch screen hopefully it will make use of the new touch screen facility M$ are trying get onto everyone's PC?

Very handy little piece of kit, ideal for VPN access to the server or wirelessly checking your LAN Security web cams.
