  • I own the machine and I have to say it's default firmware is hopeless but the firmware update seems to have corrected this and everything it promises is there

    The BD live 2.0 live profile , DIVX support even though that's not even mentioned on the retail packaging and nice additions like being able to load images from external sources and the media launcher is clever.

    ok the machine has been updated by the 2000 but from what i have seen of that it's carrying the same firmware ! and again BD live 1.1 which is going to require the update but at less 40MB and goes on CD-R and once put in the machine it updates in less than 5 Mintutes.

  • The software upgrade has been removed, I did download but it failed to upgrade player. No comment from techguys why Posted by Pete, United Kingdom
  • thanks guys. will try do u also know how u get the usb port to work - can u put films on a memory stick and watch it? - can seem to get it to do anythin when i put it into the port - is there a menu?
