Quick review

The good
Website easy to browse, plenty of variety, affordable, can play during download
The bad
Not all browsers supported, if you cancel you subscription you lose all your games, delay before games are available, not all games will be on there
Verdict
There are some shortcomings, but overall Metaboli is an easy to use and clear system at an affordable price

  • The Metaboli service, as others like it around the globe, is powered by a company called Exent Technologies.

The main purpose of a subscription service is to cater to such audiences who enjoy gaming, but either cannot afford to purchase games routinely, or simply do not want to spend so much money on this medium. Families may also find this service valuable, with individuals within the household, each with their own distinct taste in gaming, finding their specific games under one affordable service, which is also safe and secure.

As a result of the service offering a subscription-based model, games are normally licensed in a "second release window", and not on day of retail release, in order to avoid unnecessary channel conflicts and potential cannibalization, which is bad for the games industry. In this sense, the games-on-demand model expands the market and introduces new members to the gaming community.
