The good: Size, design, ease of use
The bad: USB sockets too close together, glossy screen
Verdict: You are still paying £949 for the basic model, but for the first time the MacBook Pro and MacBook are very much of a muchness

A USB extension cable should solve the problem of sockets being too near to each other. Quickly scanning on a popular computer cable web site, you can pick a 20cm one up for about £2. Job done! Posted by Will, UK
I understand that Will, but why as a user who has just spent £719 or more should i then have to go and buy yet more bits and bobs to fix a design fault. It's like selling you a car and then expecting you to pay extra for a spare tyre. Posted by stuartmiles, United Kingdom

Not enough USB (not well placed) no firewire no hdmi no expansion port, dont like the screen (pros is better). If you use a modem in one of the USB ports the other USB is useless, nothing fits.

Works like a Mac! but a bit expensive for what you get wait for the next upgrade (unlike me) Posted by Joao Nascimento, Portugal
