Is PES in the title race?

The good: Pretty impressive "Be A Legend" mode, it’s got the Champions League license
The bad: Plays a terrible game of football, transfers way out of date, barely any different from last year’s poor effort
Verdict: Ignore all these critics still giving PES09 a reasonably higher score because it "feels like Pro Evo". Unless they completely change the series, EA will be kings of the football genre for a long long time

I was a player that was neither PES or FIFA, but over previous years and the two versions, FIFA has always, to me, exceeded expectations. Its almost as if the PES team have all been through a bout of amnesia and cannot remember what made the earlier versions so great!
I was sorely disappointed by the demo, and even though my friend is begging me to get the game to play him only, I'll be sticking to FIFA and the FIWC thankyou very much! Posted by Matt, Wales
I think its a great game apart from Master lg. u cant play the same team for more than 2 matches as the players are unfit! I cant understand it. If the team was full of M owen's I could understand as his fitness is crap. Posted by Marc, England
I was a long term Fifa fan but i must admit Pro Evo has a more fun gameplay and is more realistic. For example, in Fifa there is not way you can get passed the keeper by dribbling or using fancy skills. That is just soooo fake. Pro Evo is the best for now. Posted by Iman, England
