The bad
Overall size makes it impractical in many situations

There is no doubting that the iPod touch has the wow factor in abundance and those who are lucky enough to always be within a Wi-Fi zone will really get the most out of what this device has to offer

  • Good review. I think the whole wi-fi thing is it's biggest question mark - in particular, what's the use of having Google maps when you have little chance of a connection when you most need it? I think this is where Nokia+Maps have excelled by allowing whole countries to be downloaded onto the device, and allowing GPS/A-GPS positioning. Yes, I'm commenting into phone territory but I just don't understand maps being one of the main features of the Touch on Apple's website. I must admit I haven't used it for mapping so I have no idea how much data can be cached and for how long. I think that would be a useful inclusion for a review. Posted by Simon, UK

  • Great wth Wifi. Use applications from Itunes App store. Great companion on trips. Battery life sucks, turn on google earth for a few minutes and its gone. Your in constant contact with the world if you have wifi. You can even make calls with skype!!!

Best thing around, just get it. Dont hesitate.
