• Having been toying with an iPod touch or the X-Fi 32Gb, I found a shop that had both on demo. To be honest the Creative player sounds much much better than the iPod, really much much better - better stereo and superb bass. I put sound quality at the top of my list and was not interested in much else as I don't really need it so I went for the Creative - sorry Apple your sound just ain't upto it for me and as a mucic teacher I should know! I really like the Creative and have used it for two months and many of my iPod friends when I play the same music are quite suprised at the difference in sound quality, yes its that noticeable - using the supplied Creative inear phone helps the iPod a bit but buying better ones puts the iPod at 40% over the price of the Creative. If it's sound quality you want go for the Creative, they know their stuff with sounds as they have been doing it a long time! Posted by Richard Pearson, UK
• I tend to agree, the Creative is much better in the sound dep and the supplied in ear buds are vastly superior to the iPod ones. iPod is about style but Creative is about sound quality but also has style as well - sorry Apple you loose, the iPods sound muffled and restricted compared to the X-Fi. • i've bought Zen X-Fi as my second MP3 Player,previous i used Zen Vision W. I think this player is smaller than visin W, but the sound is better. iPod ? i think that is not my choice.... Posted by loubatt, Indonesia
