LG 42LG6100 Scarlet television review

• We are finding the sound to be tinny (known in old fashioned terms as too much treble) but are having trouble altering it to sound normal. Any ideas anybody? Posted by Sharon Bell, England

• Likewise to the above - but can live with it. Absolutely love this tv, but having a few probs with some V+ channnels, where I get a perfect widescreen high def 32 inch pic in the middle of the screen - shame its a 42 incher!! So it only shows in the middle of my screen - aaaargh! Anyone else had this problem? I spoke to snooty Virgin person who told me it was my tv - bo**ocks!! • I recently purchased this TV for a bargin £660. As with previous LG sets I have owned the TV is excelent value for money. The tv is well suited to wall mounting and displays an excelent picture in HD. The sound is very poor even when compared to another 22" LG LCD I have, but fortunatley I run the sound through an seperate system. Posted by Steve, UK
• Hey Dirk - had the same problem and same response. Told him he was talking bollocks and to send someone out sharpish!! Took 5 mins to fix - it is a setting on the V+ box, needs to be set to 1080p in the menus. Full 42 incho-vision now! Love it!!
