Quick review

The good: Price, very reliable, sporty handling, comfy, huge warranty
The bad: Acceleration flat spot, indicator stalks on the wrong side, poor rear visibility
Verdict: A new tour de force in the mid-sized hatchback market, the Kia carries many of the features of its competitors but at a price that makes them look overpriced by comparison. Throw in a sprightly engine, smooth handling and subtle good looks and it’s a tidy, sporty package
