- Build and styling, simple controls, low ISO image quality, clever menus, multimedia functions

- AF performance, shutter lag, excessive noise in ISO 400 and above images, slow performance overall
- Verdict
- Part camera, part multimedia system, the NV4 provides a host of gizmos besides those for talking pictures and while the latter side of the equation works well up to a point, the package as a whole is flawed
