Quick review

The good
Connect to your computer to see what your kids have been playing, touchscreen, SD card slot
The bad
Large, graphics aren't great
Verdict
While the Leapster 2 isn't a touch on the creative or graphical powers of the Nintendo DS, you can be sure that the games will be geared towards cramming you child’s head with education

  • What a disappointment. After reading all the issues with Leapster, I'm amazed to find that these problems still exist with Leapster 2. The paint program that comes with the console is notorious for "freezing up". We swapped our unit out twice at Wal Mart and each one consistently does the same thing. Our third console will be going back for good since the website has no information on downloading a flash upgrade. We'll take our chances with the durability of the DS platform in exchange for quality software and hardware interaction. Posted by Postchevelle, US
