Quick review

The good
Advanced Lane Guidance, Bluetooth, screen, easy to use interface
The bad
Suction mount not the best that TomTom offer, traffic via mobile phone
Verdict
While you'll save some money on not getting the North America and European maps if you aren't planning on travelling outside the UK this may be too much

  • I think its great but i am having problems getting traffic to work it just does not want to connect i have a MDA pro with tmobil and have setup the account online and can log in ok. But it just keeps failing to connect has anyone else had this problem Posted by Peter Machado, uk
  • We have the same issue. When we first bought it the traffic receiver would register on the tomtom, but after a few days it didn't any more. The charger works fine so it cant be the connection. I feel folish returning the whole thing because the traffic doesn't work, but as it came in one packet thats my only option, and most places are selling the traffic seperately for over £10.
It's a shame because the tomtom go 530 itself is fantastic.
