Quick review

The good
Decent performance, reasonable battery life
The bad
Awkward interface, fanless so gets warm
Verdict
If you're strapped for cash it's a good compromise but it's the least effective mini-notebook to date

  • For the interface, when my mostly-used (customizable) items from all categories have already shown on the home screen, why need/would I "constantly" open and close the windows for?

For everyday scenarios, I don't think Eee works better on this. On the contrary, Eee takes more steps to get what I mostly need.

  • As a novice I'm having a nightmare trying to make a T Mobile Dongle work. As per usual everybody passing the buck. I' m told I need a driver but where can I find an official driver that wont invalidate the guarantee. HELP!!!!
I'm going to E mail T Mobile as Acer have told me to do so. Hummmmmm

  • how do i get to connect my home printer to this notebook when there is no-where to run the installation disc? Please give me advice as I wish to write quotes and print them off whilst my laptop is away for repair. Many thanks, Mark Posted by Mark, England
  • Mark: try heading over to the printer manufacturer's website and downloading the printer drivers from there. Posted by chrishall, United Kingdom
