Quick review

The good: Free, fast searching, great way to organise emails, interesting analytics
The bad: Takes up screen space, duplicates some functions, some problems in contact details
Verdict: If you can live with loosing the real estate from your Outlook window, or are lucky enough to have a big monitor, then Xobni is a great addition

hi,

good article. the reason why i am not using xobni is still the beta status. i need such a tool for work and this is too unsafe.

i am also not sure if this tool will be the thing people need. people want to search and get the results fast and they want to be sure that they found what they searched for. people also want to search content within attachments.

i´ll think about xobni if they have a fullversion of their tool, which is working properly. before that i use Lookeen, this is a working tool, fast, reliable, does not need much system-power.
