Quick review

The good
Small, easy to use
The bad
Not the fastest external drive
Verdict
It is small enough to fit in your pocket and packs in 80GB of space, which is great for the price

  • Although a great mini HD with huge capacity and easy to install, easier is not always better. Plugged one in my laptop (XP Pro) and all fine. It is a joy to have something like a huge USB stick. However, my XP home SP3 didn't like it at all. Plug it in and the notorious Code 10 comes along. Naturally mailed the Help Desk. All you get back is a template answer saying the power is essential and no hub should be used. And that after letting them now NO hub was used, all connections were direct, and the qu worked fine. It was only a question for suggestions why the code 10 blocked everything. Big disappointment there is that the drive installs itself, thus no drivers separately (also not on the CD as the review here said). So you need the drivers to install, but they are on the qu which does not start. A pain... Posted by Wrinkles, Germany
