Quick review

The good: Easy to use, good “classic” design and styling, simple control layout, AA-battery power, image quality, nice manual controls
The bad: Sluggish AF performance and annoying shutter lag, optical viewfinder murky and blurred
Verdict: The Nikon P50 is a neatly-crafted digital compact with “classic” styling aimed at snappers on a tighter budget
