Quick review

The good
Easy to use, image quality, focusing and macro mode, an extra £40, and it’s a bundle with the Selphy CP 520 printer
The bad
Confusing combined lens zoom and four-way controller, heavy power drain on AA cells, LCD flares in bright conditions, LCD blacks out during flash recharge, limited sensitivity options
Verdict
The PowerShot A460 is an entry level digital compact with some neat and advanced features that make it look a cut above the run of the mill models filling the shop’s shelves
