The good: You won’t lose it, novelty value, cost
The bad: It’s HUGE, lacks dedicated functionality of original remotes
Verdict: Bucking the trend towards miniaturisation, the jumbo remote adopts a bigger is better approach. But is it really?

This remote not only didn't work for my equipment it rendered the original remotes useless somehow. So now we have no functional remotes. Great! I am seeking compensation. Posted by Kay, UK

I have one that works! i use it for my dvd player as I have lost the original.. I use i for the tv also.. Posted by Charlenne, UK
Works for me. It found the TV, DVD player and Sky box no problem. Its a bit useless for Sky as there are no TV guide or Backup button equivalents. Still for simple channel swapping, volume control etc, its fine. The TV and DVD player are brands not listed in the manual. Mine only cost £6.99 - so I wasn't expecting miracles anyway... I am in Australia and the remote wont work on the UBI World TV satelite box. I tried everything I know but nothing works. I bought it for my mother could not get it to work.
