The good: Build, image quality, easy to use, nice lens, handling
The bad: Noise at higher ISO settings, purple fringing at wide end of zoom, 15fps maximum movie frame rate, lacks manual/creative control
Verdict: This is a Tonka-tough compact that provides resolution and specification enough for most users

we took our olympus u725 sw into the water. it wouldnt have gone under more than a meter of water it leaked and now dosnt work Posted by b cooper, New Zealand
i have taken mine to twenty meters diving and it did not leak also i have dropped it on rocks and tiled floor. it just wont die, what a great cam Posted by carl gibson, spain
