Now comes with built in display

Belkin has announced a new TuneBase FM transmitter at IFA 2007 in Berlin, Germany.

Called the TuneBase FM 2, the FM transmitter will be available in the UK in October and cost around £69.

It will come complete with a mono display so you can see the frequency you are tuned into without having to check the iPod's screen.

Other features of the device include an auto tune feature that will search out the next free available frequency and a signal booster to insure a better signal in the car when you are on the move.

The TuneBase gets its power from the cigarette lighter and also charge your iPod at the same time.

FM transmitters became legal in the UK last year, following a change in law.
