A world first, PhotoVu has launched a high-res 19-inch widescreen digital picture frame.

In addition to being huge, it offers wireless connectivity and RSS-reading from major photo sites.

The frame, larger than most computer monitors, will set you back $1119 although you might find yourself asking your local picture framer just to add something gilt to your current monitor.

Either way you'd really have to love your girlf/dog/gran to want to see 19-inches worth of digital them...
