One of modern life's more annoying little inconveniences (accordingly to friends and colleagues who have successfully procreated in recent years) is finding decent childcare when you want to go out on the razzle.
This site is a community-based project where parents can rate and recommend local babysitters and childcare professionals.
The site stresses that they are not an agency and that the onus is on their members to provide accurate information.
That said, the site looks like a great place to find a nanny or somebody to keep an eye on your little darlings. All the registered carers are experienced, qualified and most importantly local.
No more "that's 25 quid for the sitter and £150 for the cab ride home" debacles then.
