Evesham DA104 tiny travel telly with "big intentions"

The DA104 may seem small measuring in at only 10.4 inches and weighing 1.48kg, but Evesham is claiming that this mobile entertainment solution has big intentions.

The DA104 boasts a digital TV Tuner giving you access to Freeview TV channels and is supplied as standard with a 12V power adapter (as well as a traditional mains plug) so that you can use it on the move.

Not only is the diminutive (290 x 213.5 x 46mm) DA104 a compact, portable, digital TV, it also features a built-in DVD player that can play CDs, CD-Rs, CD-RWs, DVDs and DVD-Rs and includes a built-in 3-in-1 card reader (SD/MS/MMC) enabling you to view photo slideshows (JPEG) and videos (VCD, SVCD, DVD, MPEG4) or play your music (MP3, WMA) wherever you might be.

The DA104 also includes a USB port which can be used to transfer content from a USB storage device and you can also hook it up to a digital camera, games console or full-size TV.

The specs aren’t great (680 x 480 resolution, 150:1 contrast ratio, 250 CD/M2 brightness, 30MS response time and 0.3w x 2 stereo speakers) but that's not what this product is about - Evesham is pitching this as a travel-friendly TV, ideal for use when travelling/camping.

For anyone who doesn't want to miss a minute of Wimbledon/Eastenders (delete as appropriate) this summer, it could well be a godsend.
