MySpace, has launched a French version of its social networking site in an attempt to attract more users in Europe and around the world.
MySpace, which lets members look up friends' blogs and songs posted by their favourite artists, has been running a beta site in France for several months. The site officially goes live on Thursday, a spokesman for the company said on Tuesday.
France becomes MySpace's second officially live country site behind the UK, which with 6.9 million unique users in November ranks as the online network's most popular European market.
