Flip Mino gets official UK launch
What? You mean it hasn't already?

Despite already appearing at various Christmas showcases and getting a video review from our very own Stuart Miles, the Flip Mino hasn't officially launched in the UK, until today.
The little brother to the Flip Ultra (did you guess from the name?), the Flip Mino gives you 2GB of on-board flash memory allowing you to capture up to 60 minutes of video with sound and has a 1.5-inch colour LCD screen around the back. It weighs only 90g so is easily pocketable.
The flipping USB connector has relocated to the top of the device and as before, all the software is on-board, meaning it is simply a case of plug and play. The Flip Mino boasts a rechargeable lithium-ion battery that powers up automatically while plugged into a computer and provides more than 4 hours of recording time on a single charge.
Priced at a RRP of £119.99, it now faces serious competition from the likes of the Kodak Zi6, which at only £10 more offers HD video, as well as SDHC memory card support, so we are predicting the Mino sees a price drop fairly soon.
Look out for our review of the Flip Mino (and Kodak Zi6) coming shortly…
