Skoda to offer optional Mio mount

Semi-integrated system

Following the recent news of the Renault and TomTom team-up, Skoda has unveiled new models that will have an optional mount for Mio Moov GPS devices.

Half way between an integrated system and a standalone unit, the new offering will see a mount installed for the devices - which means the unit is still portable and can be transferred to other vehicles.

The customised mount is to the left of the steering wheel where it doesn’t obstruct your view and completely avoids cables as it charges the unit when mounted, leaving your cigarette lighter socket free for other uses.

Available now, the Skoda models to offer this feature are the Fabia, Fabia Kombi and Roomster and it will cost 249 euros without installation and 299 with.
