Hercules has launched the XPS 2.0 60 multimedia speakers that are said to be inspired by the high-end acoustic stereo world.

On sale under £70, the new offering gets wooden satellites, multiple connectivity options and "precision audio technology".

Measuring 21 x 10.5 x 13cm, the speakers have a black lacquered casing and metallic grate, power supply at the back and offer a total output of 30 watts RMS.

With Bass Reflex Technology, there's bass, treble and volume adjustment switches, a headset connector, a line-in connector as well as terminal blocks featuring attachment clamps.

The Hercules XPS 2.0 60 will be available in November 2008 for £69.99.
