Array of iPod touch and nano cases from Griffin Tech

From armbands to impact resistant shells

The launch of Apple’s iPod touch 2G and iPod nano 4G has been followed by the arrival of a whole host of new cases from Griffin to keep your new 'Pod pristine.

First up, for people who want to listen to their tunes on the go, is the AeroSport, which will be available to buy through the Currys website, and costs £18.99.

This range of armbands is light and flexible but is also made from a moisture-wicking fabric so will keep the sweat off your skin.

AeroSport offers full screen protection for all iPod models and includes a cord wrap that keeps headphone cables out of the way.

In addition, the high-visibility reflective print pattern helps visibility at dusk or dawn.

Next up is the Elan Convertible for £16.99, which is a flip-top case.

It has a black, pebbled top-grain leather case which is claimed to protect the iPod from dust, bumps and scratches.

But you can also remove this cover if you want to travel light to create a superslim slipcase with a built-in clear screen protector.

The FlexGrip, priced £14.99, is a silicone case that has a two-colour design and features a static-peel screen protector that covers the touchscreen.

FlexGrip will be available in two-packs of black and red for both iPod nano 4G and iPod touch 2G.

The iClear is a transparent polycarbonate case for iPods is priced £14.99 and is a, well, clear case including a custom-molded shell.

Abd last up is the Nu Form with EasyDock for £16.99, which is an impact-resistant, hard-shell case with a static peel screen protector that guards against smudges, scratches and fingerprints.

All of the new launches are available through Currys.
