PC World launches Advent Eco PC

• £599 for a computer that might save you £35 a year, when you can buy a faster Compaq Presario SR5522 from PC World for £280. So you _might_ just make your money back in ten years.
  
  But far more likely you'll have thrown the Advent Eco PC away long before then and upgraded it to something with more horsepower.
  
  Where's the logic in buying an eco friendly PC when the manufacturer cynically charges you double what an equivalent machine should cost?

• Why is everything ECO so much more money? A non-impressive spec with a low rate power supply, with less options than 'any at all'. Then I have to leave it on all year to save £35.00 (oooh that might be £40 as electric goes up.
