It seems Toshiba is the latest in a long line of laptop vendors to offer a netbook.
The 8.9-inch Satellite NB105 is to see a launch overseas, with no news on a UK release, and a "no comment" from the company's UK PR team.
Featuring Intel's 1.6GHz Atom processor, the ultra-portable will get 1GB of RAM, and a hard disk drive with a 120GB capacity.
The netbook will run Windows XP and feature Wi-Fi connectivty and Ethernet LAN, but no 3G or Bluetooth built-in.
Other specs include an SD card slot, three USB 2.0 ports and a webcam.
The device is slated for a November release in Mexico - we'll bring you more on UK news as we hear it.
