Okay, so technically this 52-inch bad boy, as just launched by Sanyo Stateside, is meant for commercial installations, but that doesn't mean you can't dream of having such kit in your backyard...

The second-gen CE52SR1 LCD offers a sun-readable panel and marine grade construction, it provides full 1920 x 1080 HD resolution, and a 1500:1 contrast ratio backed up by 1500 cd/m2 on-screen brightness. Nice.
