Philips GoGear SA52 "portable audio video player" launches
Ho-hum nano rival

Philips has launched the new GoGear SA52 portable audio video player with the claim that it "brings sound back to music".
We're not quite sure what they're on about, but think it might have something to do with Philips' new "FullSound" technology.
This Digital Signal Processor-related tech apparently "greatly enhances" the sound quality of compressed MP3 audio files creating a "symphony-like experience".
The 4GB SA52 will play MP3, WMA, AAC format music, WMV video files and offer FM radio on the go.
The 2.8-inch QVGA LCD color display allows users to view album art and photos in full colour. The player offers up to 25-hour music or 5-hour video playback.
No pricing or availability yet revealed for this decidedly average looking offering.
