Sony launches PSP cradle in Japan

Docking solution complete with remote control

5 March 2008 8:51 GMT / By Amy-Mae Elliott

At the same time as rolling out a limited edition matte bronze PSP in Japan, the gaming company also launched a PSP cradle for their handheld.

Ideal for anyone that uses their PSP to watch movies, the PSP docks in the cradle and is held upright so you can get a better angle for viewing if you want to watch video on the PSP's screen, or comes with AV cables so you can use the PSP Slim's TV-out ability to hook it up to a big screen.

There is a remote control so you don't have to leave your seat to fiddle with the buttons and the cradle will charge the device too.

This will launch in Japan on 24 April for about £25 with no plans for it to launch outside of the region.
