So is the thinking behind FlashSticks' range of twig-like USB drives.

In the case of this latest offering each drive is made from locally grown silver birch wood from a renewable source.

Because of the material employed, each USB "stick" is unique - no two are the same. And, because of the irregularity of the material used, each USB pen drive also has to be handmade, which, as the site says, can only add to the charm.

Each drive offers 1GB of storage and cost £15 with a further £2.50 for your P and P.
