Swedx "Tree-V" televisions available now

Currys and Dixons are to offer exclusive "Tree-Vs" from Swedish manufacturer, Swedx. These wooden televisions and are built with natural Ash, Sapele or Beech wood from sustainable forest sources.

DeVere Forster, eCommerce director for Dixons.co.uk said: "We’re delighted to be the exclusive stockist of the Tree-Vs from Swedx. They are high specification televisions, with the added advantage of being constructed within frames from all-natural, renewable, sustainable, recyclable resources. Owning a Tree-V is a great way of making a small contribution to planet Earth while watching it on the telly at the same time".

The 19-inch widescreen WXGA+ Tree-Vs have built-in Freeview tuners with 7-day EPG and feature HDMI connections, although are not FUll HD.

There's also Component, SCART, PC and AV inputs. The Tree-Vs are described as very thin so angled as perfect for wall mounting. Brightness comes in at 450cdm2 and they offer 5ms response time, but, a very low viewing angle of only 80 degrees.

The Tree-Vs, perfect for anyone wanting that log-cabin look in their lounge are available to pre-order now, with delivery in time for Christmas, for £350.
