Amazon's "Unbox" gets NBC's TV shows

Heroes, The Office, 30 Rock plus new season's series

After the falling out with Apple and withdrawal of its shows from iTunes, NBC Universal and Amazon have announced that NBC's television shows with be available on Amazon.com's "Unbox" download service.

Available on Unbox will be popular shows such as The Office, Heroes, and 30 Rock, as well as all of NBC's forthcoming "fall" series shows.

As an extra bonus, from the 10th September, Unbox users will be able to download free-of-charge pilot episodes of new programmes, such as Bionic Woman, Chuck, Journeyman and Life before they are aired on TV.

Standard episodes will cost $1.99 per show and will be available a day after they aired. Entire series will be available at a 30% discount.
