At IFA 2007, Sony unveiled their first-ever Blu-ray home cinema system, the Bravia Theatre HTP-BD2RSF, complete with Blu-ray player, multi-channel digital receiver and speaker package.

The Blu-ray player is the BDP-S300, that delivers HD1080p video and offers 24-frame video as well as upscaling your existing DVDs to 1080p on HD1080 Bravia TVs.

The HTP-BD2RSF also has onboard decoding of Dolby Digital Plus for a surround sound experience.

The rest of the system is made up of the Sony HT-SF2000 Home Theatre System that comprises a receiver using 32bit full digital S-Master amplification to deliver 1000W total output power, plus a package of speakers.

The speakers in the HTP-BD2RSF system comprise of 2-way front speakers, centre and surround speakers, along with a compact subwoofer.

The HTP-BD2RSF has three-in, one-out HDMI connections, allowing an entire system to be fed through to your BRAVIA TV set, and BRAVIA Theatre Sync allows you true "one-touch" operation.

And Sony promises pain-free set up - it's all done with Sony's Digital Cinema Auto Calibration which should takes the stress out of the process.

The Sony HTP-BD2RSF will be available in November 2007, no pricing announced.
