Corel WordPerfect Office X3 launched

Comes with web focus and spreadsheet application

Corel has announced the launch of latest version of its WordPerfect Office suite; X3.

Focusing on the ability to create documents for the web the package includes WordPerfect Lightning, a digital notebook and Web collaboration tool, that makes it easier than ever for PC users to capture and reuse information from documents or the Web.

Users can also export to PDF, while embedded Yahoo search functionality supposedly makes research simple.

Competing against Excel, the package includes spreadsheet application Quattro Pro.

WordPerfect Office X3 Home and Student Edition works with all variants of Widows from Windows 98 onwards.
